Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with late shifts until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be provided when Saturday is worked
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts required per month
* Float between 4 sites as needed: Guilford, North Haven, and two New Haven locations
* 2 years of experience required within the mammography specialty
* Travel experience required
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Preferred skills include: 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Screening Mammograms, Radiation Safety, and Siemens
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Parking cost: $125 per month
* Patient population: Adults
* Pre-approved time off: Up to 7 days may be auto-approved

This short-term acute care facility is a Level I Trauma Center with 1,567 total staffed beds, offering comprehensive medical services across multiple locations. The facility operates several outpatient medical centers in the surrounding region and is supported by a dedicated radiology department. As a major healthcare system, it provides advanced diagnostic imaging services and is equipped with modern technology to support a wide range of patient care needs.
