Opportunity:

Pediatric Cath Lab Rad Tech

Job Details:

* Day shift hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* On-call required: 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
* 2 Cath Lab rooms
* Perform procedures including Pediatric/Adult Transplant, Right/Left Heart Biopsy, Balloon, Stent, and Valve Placement; may also include Interventional Radiology (preferably pediatric)
* Level I Trauma Pediatric Cath Lab experience preferred; Electrophysiology (EP) experience preferred
* Treat congenital heart patients and perform heart cath procedures
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association only), and either CCI with RCIS/RCES (preferred) or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R)
* Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
* Charting system: EPIC
* Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period; called-off hours may be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Parking available nights and weekends only with a one-time $20 parking pass fee
* Travelers should be aware that all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November), with peak activity in August and September

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 865 total staffed beds. It offers a highly specialized environment supporting complex cardiac and interventional radiology procedures, including pediatric and adult cases. The facility operates two Cath Lab rooms and utilizes EPIC for electronic charting, providing a well-equipped and comprehensive setting for healthcare professionals.
