Job Details:

* 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* 36 hours per week with weekend rotations
* Block scheduling type
* No on-call requirement
* Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
* First-time travelers will not be accepted
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Charting system: CERNER
* Scrub color: Wine
* Required skills include rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support across various medical conditions
* Must be proficient in IV access and other clinical interventions
* Treat patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support available including Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS all must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)
* TNCC preferred
* Permanent address must be 100 or more miles from the facility

Facility:

This emergency department operates around the clock, providing immediate care for a wide range of medical situations including trauma management and advanced life support. The unit consists of 7 beds with a daily census of 27 and benefits from comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary staff. The facility utilizes CERNER for charting and maintains a consistent 3:1 patient ratio across all shifts.
