Job Details:

* Temp to perm opportunity
* 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
* Holiday rotation required
* Floating within scope required to meet facility needs
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to CSC, ART, or West Campus
* Floating to sister facilities required
* Minimum 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks for guaranteed hours
* No more than 2 callouts permitted without a doctor's note; 3rd callout may result in removal
* No more than 3 tardies permitted
* Travelers expected to work holidays if not included in approved time off requests
* Will be assigned to Inclement Weather Team A or B per management expectations
* Skills required include: aseptic technique, biological indicators, high-level disinfection, steam sterilization, scope/probe reprocessing, sets/tray assembly, use of washers/sterilizers, and sterilization wrapping procedures
* Case experience with acute hospital OR, ambulatory surgery center, cardiac, neuro/cranial, ortho/totals, robotics, transplant, and urology preferred

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The organization provides a high level of acute and specialized care across multiple campuses and serves a wide range of patient populations including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Parking is available with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass, applicable on nights and weekends only.
