Job Details:

* Monday through Friday scheduling with block scheduling type
* Facility operates 24/7 with an average of 1 patient per hour and approximately 20 visits per day
* 3 MRI rooms available within the department
* Patient ratios: 4 patients during days, 4 patients during nights, and 2 patients on weekends
* Serves patients across all age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Voluntary call and voluntary float required
* Must be able to work 50% of holidays occurring during contract
* 40 orientation hours required
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; previous travel experience preferred (first-time travelers accepted with 2 years of Level I trauma experience)
* Level I trauma experience required; Level II trauma experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Experience with Adult ICU, Pediatrics, and Adult Acute Care required
* Charting system experience with Siemens required; Cerner preferred
* Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred
* Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, and BLS
* Required skills include: Abdomen, Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Brain, Cervical, Chest, Cranial nerves, Diffusion, Face/soft tissue neck, Female Pelvis, Foot, Head MRA, Head MRV, Hip/bony pelvis, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Lumbar, Male Pelvis, Multiplanar reconstruction, Neck MRV, Orbits, Perfusion, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Sacrum/coccyx, Shoulder, Siemens, Spin Echo Images, Spinal trauma, Starting Peripheral IVs, Sternum, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images, Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast, Thoracic, and Upper extremity long bones
* Special equipment includes: Medtronic Pacemaker Programmer, Medical Implant Programming, and MRI Monitoring equipment
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Lift Teams, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation
* Position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
* Rotating shifts as well as holiday and work during inclement weather may be required
