Job Details:

* Work 10-hour shifts with a rotating day off: Saturday and Sunday 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM and Monday 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM (3 shifts per week)
* No call required for scheduled shifts
* Minimal call requirements: only 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks
* 2 years of experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Trauma Level I experience required
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certification: BLS
* Patient ratio: 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Patient age groups: Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
* Required specialty experience: Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurology, Vascular, and Urology
* Preferred experience: Da Vinci Robotics, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmology
* Skills include but are not limited to: Craniotomy, Total Joint Replacement, Laminectomy/Discectomy, Lumbar Fusion, Carotid Endarterectomy, Cholecystectomy, Nephrectomy, Prostatectomy, Cystoscopy, Laparoscopic Assisted Procedures, Robotic Surgery (Colorectal, Gynecologic, Urologic, Orthopedic, Neurological), and additional general and specialty OR procedures

This healthcare facility is a large, well-established health system offering a wide range of surgical services across multiple specialties. The facility operates a 14-room, 14-bed surgical unit with a daily census of 45 and supports a comprehensive scope of procedures including orthopedic, neurological, vascular, urological, and robotic surgeries. The organization maintains a high standard of patient care with interdisciplinary support and state-of-the-art surgical technology.
