CT/Xray Tech

Job Details:

* Work overnight shifts covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 8:00 PM to 8:00 AM
* Weekend overnight shifts required
* Sole technologist working overnight, responsible for both CT and X-ray operations
* No on-call required
* No floating between units
* 1:1 patient ratio
* Serve patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Work in a 2-room radiology department with 48 beds
* Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
* Scrub color: Any color
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, ARRT R, BLS
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, CT imaging (abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, sinuses, soft tissue neck, thoracic, vascular chest), musculoskeletal trauma, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), PACS, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, radiation safety, starting peripheral IVs, and venipuncture
* 2 professional references required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years

This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 59 total staff beds and 48 patient beds, providing comprehensive medical services across multiple specialties. The facility offers interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services.
