Opportunity:

Mammography Tech

Job Details:

* Monday/Tuesday and Thursday/Friday shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* No on-call requirements
* No weekend shifts required
* No floating between units
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Biopsy experience preferred but not required
* Must be familiar with Hologic equipment
* Perform 3D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, digital mammography, and screening mammograms
* Perform special procedures including breast biopsies, localizations, and savvy scout
* Conduct fine needle aspiration, needle localizations, and stereotactic biopsy procedures
* Operate special equipment including Trident and Hologic systems, including Hologic 3D and Hologic Affirm BX
* Follow digital quality assurance procedures and maintain radiation safety standards
* Apply isolation precautions/PPE and universal precautions/core measures
* Serve adult and geriatric patient populations
* Work within a 5-room department
* Charting system: Epic (preferred experience)
* Scrub color: Any color permitted
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, Oregon license, Mammography-ARRT

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates 418 staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services. The facility utilizes Epic as its charting system and offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services and radiology. The department consists of 5 dedicated mammography rooms and specializes in breast imaging and biopsy procedures, maintaining modern equipment to support advanced diagnostic imaging needs.
