Job Details:

* Day shift, 10-hour shifts with start times of either 7:00 AM or 8:30 AM
* 8-hour shifts may be available for candidates who prefer that schedule
* On-call required on Sundays based on rotation, approximately every 4th to 5th Sunday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
* Saturdays are typically staffed
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics, with adolescents preferred
* Perform MRI procedures including neuro, MSK, abdomen, MRCPs, and breast exams
* No cardiac MRI performed at this facility
* Equipment used: GE 1.5 Signa and GE 1.5 Optima
* At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* California Radiologic Technologist Certification required
* ARRT in Radiology required; ARRT in MRI preferred
* BLS certification required
* California IV certification preferred prior to start
* Must be able to commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may result in termination or forfeiture of guaranteed hours
* Required skills include: Abdomen, Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, Brain, Breast, Cervical, Chest, ER/Trauma, Face/Soft Tissue Neck, Female Pelvis, GE, Gradient Echo Imaging, Hip/Bony Pelvis, Image Post-Processing, Knee, Lumbar, Male Pelvis, Maximum Intensity Projection, Multiplanar Reconstruction, PACS, Preparation and/or Administration of Contrast Media, Shoulder, Spin Echo Images, Starting Peripheral IVs, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images, and Thoracic
