* Block scheduling type
* No on-call required

* No floating between units
* Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required
* Must have sterile processing certification (CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA certification accepted)
* Robotic instrumentation experience required; Da Vinci Robotics experience greatly preferred
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Scrub color: Any color; OR/L&D scrubs provided
* Required skills include: acute hospital OR, cleaning equipment, high-level disinfection, use of washers/sterilizers, case cart, sterilization wrapping procedures, sets/trays assembly, equipment documentation
* Specialty area experience includes: General, Ear/Nose/Throat, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, Vascular, Ortho/Total Joints, and Fiber Optics
* Scope experience includes: Uteroscopes, Cystoscopes, and Loaner Trays
* Sterilization monitoring experience required: Biological indicators, Chemical indicators, Steam Sterilization Testing/Monitoring, Immediate-Use Steam Sterilization (IUSS), Steris Testing/Monitoring, and Sterrad Testing/Monitoring
* Patient population served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Facility operates 21 rooms
* One pre-approved time off request allowed
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates 418 staffed beds and features 21 procedure rooms. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides a comprehensive surgical environment supporting a wide range of specialties including orthopedics, general surgery, OB/GYN, urology, plastics, and robotic-assisted procedures. The sterile processing department supports a high-volume surgical program with advanced robotic surgical systems and diverse instrumentation needs.
