Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour shifts, with both day shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM) and night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM) available
* Every other weekend required
* On-call requirements apply
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* 13-week assignment
* Minimum 2+ years of ER experience required
* Required certifications: PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and NIHSS
* CEN certification preferred
* Active Texas RN license required - temporary licenses will not be accepted
* Meditech experience preferred as the unit documentation system
* Must be comfortable performing conscious sedation, participating in intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care including TPA administration, and chest pain/heart alert protocols
* Strong teamwork and communication skills preferred
* All travelers are required to float per the Methodist Floating Policy
* Dress code: Navy scrubs required for RN (undershirts and jackets must be white, navy, or black only)
* Nail policy: No acrylic nails, nails must not exceed one inch, must be clean with no chipped nail polish
* Hair must be off shoulders and natural color
* Body art should be covered whenever possible
* Visible piercings other than ears are prohibited
