Opportunity:
CT Technologist
Job Details:
* Day shift position working either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts per week
* Schedule runs Wednesday/Thursday through Saturday
* On-call requirement of 1-2 nights per month
* Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue
* Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
* Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging from adolescence through geriatric age groups
* Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
* Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to appropriate locations
* Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
* Ensure integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
* Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
* EPIC experience required
* At least two years of recent experience in the field required
* Required certifications: ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT), Basic Life Support (BLS)
* R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) registration required
* Advanced certification in CT modality required
* Fluoroscopy license preferred
* Venipuncture certification preferred
* Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
