Opportunity:
Radiology Technologist - Imaging
Job Details:
* ASAP start needed with manager interviews required
* Orientation period of 1 to 1.5 weeks based on experience and comfort level
* 4-week schedules provided to the best of ability with specific shifts varying based on need
* Weekend rotation varies based on need
* No on-call required
* Holiday expectations completed in rotation with other technologists
* RTO requires manager approval
* Work across care areas including outpatient, inpatient, ED/ICU/MedSurg, and Operating Room
* Primarily adult and geriatric patients with some pediatric and neonatal cases
* Perform imaging in general X-ray, fluoroscopy, C-arm in OR, ortho/ortho trauma, ICU, MedSurg, and ER settings
* Fixed location with floating to OR or portables for inpatient scans
* OR/C-arm experience required
* EMR system: Cerner
* PACS system: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
* Equipment includes Siemens Ysio, Siemens Multix Fusion, Siemens Artis Zee fluoroscopy unit, OEC/Siemens/Ziehm C-arms in OR, and Shimadzu DR portable units
* Support available from lead tech, department administration, internal transport, and on-site radiologist
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT (R)
* Maine state license required
* Scrub color: any solid professional color or provided by facility if needed

Facility:
This facility is a 411-bed Level II Trauma Center that receives air flights and serves two-thirds of the state, functioning as the closest trauma center within a two-hour radius. The facility is also a certified stroke center and features three imaging rooms including two general X-ray rooms and one fluoroscopy room. The department is supported by on-site radiologists, lead technologists, and internal transport, with advanced imaging technology throughout.
