Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* Work 5x8 hour shifts with hours from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* On-call requirement: All techs will have call at least once every two months; call begins 7:00 AM Saturday morning through Monday 7:00 AM
* Guaranteed hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Experience required in sterilization, decontamination, assembly/wrap, and scope reprocessing
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, robotics, ENT, ortho, transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* Skills required: Acute Hospital OR, scope/probe reprocessing, and sets/tray assembly
* Scrubs provided by facility
* Charting system: Epic
* No parking cost

This acute care hospital is a Level III Trauma Center with 286 total staffed beds, offering a wide range of specialty surgical services including neurology, urology, robotics, ENT, orthopedics, transplant, and gynecology. The facility is equipped with modern charting technology and supports a dynamic sterile processing department that plays a critical role in patient safety and surgical readiness.
