LTC/TCU CNA
Job Details:
* 8-hour day shifts
* Every other weekend required; CNAs follow a three-week pattern working two weekends with the third off
* No on-call required
* Patient ratios: 1:8 during days and 1:22 during nights
* Float required between Long-Term Care and Transitional Care Unit - typically 3 shifts per 24 hours spent in TCU with remaining time floating to other areas
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Facility may call off traveler up to 1 shift per pay period (every 2 weeks)
* Minimum 1 year of skilled long-term care or transitional care experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certification: BLS
* Washington state license required; compact license must be in hand at time of submission
* Charting system: Net Solutions; charting system experience required
* Business casual attire required
* Reliable transportation required; travel pairs must have their own transportation
* Patients served: Adults and Geriatrics
* Daily census of 170 with 207 total beds
* 24-hour orientation
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during submittal
* Required skills include: vital signs monitoring, ambulation assistance, feeding assistance, turning and repositioning, bed baths, foot care, glucometer use, Hoyer lift operation, isolation precautions/PPE, mouth care, blood pressure monitoring, pulse oximetry, pressure injury prevention, safe patient transfers, and incontinence care
* Special equipment used: Hoyer lift, PVR, Sit to Stand
* Parking is free

This is a Long-Term Care and Transitional Care facility with 207 beds and a daily census of approximately 170 patients. The facility serves adult and geriatric patient populations and provides comprehensive long-term and transitional care services. The facility supports interdisciplinary care and utilizes Net Solutions for charting, along with specialized equipment to support patient mobility and safety needs.
