LVN - Urgent Care
Job Details:
* Rotating schedule: Monday through Friday 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM, Saturday through Sunday 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM
* Weekend requirement: Yes, every other weekend with some holidays
* Floating required: Yes, traveler must be flexible
* Minimum 1 year of experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Room required
* Minimum 2 years of overall outpatient experience required
* Active California LVN license required at time of submission with valid CA IV certification
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA or ARC only), IV and Blood Withdrawal certification
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* Treat patients across all age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include multiple conditions, acute sickness, injuries, and wound care
* Required skills include: blood glucose monitoring, cast care, foley catheter insertion, phlebotomy, starting and maintaining IVs, obtaining 12-lead EKG/ECG, wound care, vital sign monitoring, telephone triage, vaccine administration, medication reconciliation, oxygen administration, and pain assessment and management
* No scheduling requests can be accommodated and no time off requests within the first 2 weeks of assignment
* Maximum RTO: 7 days
* 2 references from within the past year of employment required at time of submission (must be supervisor or higher)
