Adult RRT- Ashley River Tower

Job Details:

* Work 3x12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
* Orientation will be completed on day shift
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Holidays required
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Floating, if any, would only be to Main Hospital with adult population using same policies, equipment, and charting requirements
* Emergency team activation required as needed
* At least 2 years of critical care experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Adult critical care experience required
* Required certifications: NBRC RRT certification, BLS, ACLS
* South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
* Charting system: Epic
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Parking cost applies for nights and weekends only - one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* Block schedule requests require prior approval and are not guaranteed
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of submission

Facility:

This is a Magnet-designated, teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 total staffed beds. The Ashley River Tower campus features nearly 200 beds including two ICUs, two step-down floors, four general acute care floors, and a 21-bed emergency department. The facility includes a 21-bed Cardiovascular ICU serving post-op cardiac, thoracic, and complex vascular surgery patients, heart and lung transplant cases, durable LVAD, ECMO, IABP, Impella, and complex cardiology patients. The 18-bed Medical-Surgical ICU serves a mix of medical and abdominal surgical patients including ARDS, septic shock, hematologic and oncologic emergencies, GI hemorrhage, pulmonary hypertension, and perforated viscous cases.
