RN - IMC MedSurg

Job Details:

* Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Full-time position
* Practice independently in a medical-surgical intermediate care setting
* Provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients
* Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols and monitor for side effects and treatment effectiveness
* Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
* Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care given
* Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and caregivers
* Make appropriate assignments and delegate to other care providers as needed to manage clinical situations
* 1 year of experience in a related nursing specialty preferred
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
* Required certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only)
* RN license in state of TX or compact license required
