Opportunity:

RN - EMERGENCY ROOM

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
* No on-call requirements
* Rotating weekend schedule
* Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed private room unit with 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health beds
* Utilize equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Document using MEDITECH EMR system
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens, rapid infuser, and resuscitation
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Preferred qualifications: MEDITECH experience, trauma experience, inpatient holding experience, and CPI certification
* Required scrub color: Navy blue
* Ideal candidate is a multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This facility features a large emergency services department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms. The unit is supported by a robust team including charge nurses, mid-shift nurses, PCTs, a paramedic, and an LVN on both day and night shifts. The department is equipped with modern medical technology and maintains an active unit-based council and social committee, fostering a collaborative and engaging work environment.
