Opportunity:

RN - Emergency Room

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment
* Day shift from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios of 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, and 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Document using MEDITECH EMR system
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Preferred qualifications: Meditech experience, trauma experience, inpatient experience, and CPI certification
* Dress code: Navy blue scrubs required
* Ideal candidates are strong multitaskers, team players, and self-starters

Facility:

This facility is a full-service medical center featuring a large emergency department with 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms. The emergency department operates with robust staffing including charge nurses, mid-shift coverage, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs on both day and night shifts. The facility maintains an active unit-based council and social committee, fostering a collaborative and engaged work environment.
