RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* 15-week contract for winter planning
* Option for 48-hour shifts available
* No on-call responsibilities
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* Must be comfortable with and have had some exposure to post-partum care
* Strong labor and delivery experience required including cervical exams, antepartum and labors, amnio infusions, epidurals, fetal monitoring, IVs, and Pitocin
* Must be able to circulate C-sections
* Baby catching/receiving required
* APGAR assessment skills required
* Breastfeeding knowledge required
* Post-partum care from transition to discharge for both mom and baby strongly preferred
* Scrub experience is a bonus; scrub-trained RNs may be utilized for sick call coverage
* Epic EMR experience strongly preferred
* Multilingual skills in Russian or Spanish preferred
* First-time travelers will be considered
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, Fetal Monitoring
* Teal scrubs are provided

Facility:

This facility features a 20-bed obstetrics unit including 12 labor and delivery beds and 8 post-partum and antepartum beds, along with 3 OB/ED rooms and 2 operating rooms. The unit also includes a 6-bed Level II NICU, providing comprehensive care for both mothers and newborns. A scrub technician is always on site, and a nurse practitioner is available on call to support the clinical team.
