Opportunity:

Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Job Details:

* Day shift with variable start and end times, with possible 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM evening shift availability
* Five 8-hour shifts per week with 10-hour shifts on Saturdays
* Rotating weekends and holidays with on-call responsibilities on weeknights and weekends
* Acute care setting
* Majority of work consists of adult echocardiography including Definity and Agitated Saline contrast studies
* Perform inpatient and outpatient studies in a fast-paced, high-volume echo department
* Perform TEE, Exercise Stress, and Dobutamine Stress Echo procedures as time permits
* Most hospital patient studies are performed bedside
* Average of 7 cases per shift with a range of 5 to 8 cases
* Utilize EPIC, CUPID, TOM TECH Reporting, and PACS systems for charting
* Operate Philips brand echo machines including EPIC 7, IE33, and CX50
* 6 echo machines and 3 dedicated rooms available in the department
* No floating to other units or departments
* Must be comfortable working independently at times
* Pediatric echo experience a plus but not required
* 4 to 5 years of experience preferred but not required
* ARDMS or BLS certification required
* ARDCS or RCS certification required
* North Dakota state license required
* Scrubs color requirement: Gray
* Must badge in and out at the facility
* This location does not accept local travelers with permanent addresses within 80 miles of the facility

Facility:

This acute care facility operates a fast-paced, high-volume echocardiography department equipped with multiple Philips brand echo machines and dedicated procedure rooms. The department is staffed Monday through Sunday and provides both inpatient and outpatient cardiac imaging services, with a strong emphasis on adult echocardiography. The facility utilizes advanced charting systems and maintains a well-equipped environment to support a broad range of cardiac diagnostic procedures.
