Opportunity:

RN - EMERGENCY ROOM

Job Details:

* 13-week contract assignment working 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
* Rotating weekend schedule required
* No on-call requirements
* Patient ratios: 1:4 ED, 1:5 behavioral health, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
* Work in a 48-bed emergency department with private rooms, hallway stretchers, fast track, and behavioral health areas
* Perform procedures including splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central line management, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, Morgan lens, rapid infuser, and resuscitation
* Operate equipment including Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, and Stryker stretchers
* Document using MEDITECH EMR system
* Meditech experience preferred
* Trauma experience preferred
* Holding inpatient experience preferred
* CPI preferred
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
* Navy blue scrubs required
* Must be a strong multitasker, team player, and self-starter

Facility:

This emergency department features 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 fast track beds, and 5 behavioral health rooms, providing comprehensive emergency care services. The unit maintains an active and collaborative team environment with robust staffing including charge nurses, mid-shift support, PCTs, paramedics, and LVNs on both day and night shifts. The facility has an active Unit-Based Council and Social Committee, reflecting a strong commitment to staff engagement and workplace culture.
