Opportunity:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Cardiology
Job Details:
* 10-hour day shifts from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM
* 40 hours per week available
* 13-week contracts accepted
* Schedule is based on clinic needs
* No call, float, or weekend requirements
* Patient ratio of 1:4 with an average daily census of 10-12 patients
* Treats adult and geriatric patient populations
* Performs cardiology studies including stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies
* Common patient diagnoses include coronary artery disease, pre-op clearance, chest pain, and shortness of breath
* Required work setting skills: Adult and Nuclear Cardiology
* Required skills and procedures: Rest/Stress and Amyloid (PYP) studies
* Required myocardial skills: Exercise/Rest-Multiple, Exercise/Rest-Single, and Pharmacological Stress
* Required professional skills: Starting and maintaining peripheral IVs and storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
* Operates specialized equipment including Hot Lab Equipment, Dose Calibrator, Well Counter, and two Spectrum Dynamics DSPECT cameras
* EPIC charting system experience preferred
* Preferred work setting: Outpatient clinic
* Required certifications: BLS and ARRT (N) or CNMT
* Preferred certification: ACLS
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Scrubs not provided; royal blue preferred
* 40-hour in-clinic orientation provided

The clinic performs stress testing and Amyloid (PYP) studies and is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support a broad range of cardiac diagnoses. The facility utilizes EPIC for charting and maintains a structured scheduling model to support both patients and clinical staff.
