Job Details:

* Work 12.5-hour shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* Every other weekend rotation required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Holiday expectations are unit dependent
* Schedule released 6 weeks at a time
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of experience and required skills
* Work across all departments within the facility, assigned to a specific area each shift
* Patient population includes medical-surgical, critical care, emergency, and primarily adult/geriatric patients with possible pediatric and infant cases
* Patient ratios determined by census and acuity using a points system acuity tool
* Required certifications: RRT, ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, and Washington state license
* Must be proficient in basic respiratory therapy skills and critical care experience
* Experience required with ventilators, BiPAPs, and high-flow nasal cannula (HFNC)
* Familiarity with all respiratory equipment and accessories required
* Nursery experience helpful but not required if NRP certified
* EMR: EPIC experience required
* Ventilator experience with Getinge Servo-u required
* Experience with Pyxis medication dispensing system required
* Scrub color: Any solid color with matching top and bottom
* Orientation consists of 1 day of hospital orientation followed by 2-3 precepted shifts

Facility:

This is a smaller community hospital featuring 123 beds and serving as a Level 3 Trauma Center. The facility supports a wide range of patient care needs including medical-surgical, critical care, and emergency services, primarily serving an adult and geriatric population. Respiratory therapy staff are supported by an RT manager and team lead, and the facility operates across all departments with a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
