Job Details:

* Block scheduling required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Position will float between units
* Responsible for floor care, ER, code response, and rapid response
* Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Expected patient ratio of 1:11
* Minimum 2 years of experience required
* At least 1 year of experience required
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT
* Scrub color: Any color
* Charting system: Epic
* Parking: No fee
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Preferred experience: Pediatrics and adolescents
* Required skills include: aerosol set up, BiPAP, CPAP, emergency department, extubation, interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), nitric oxide, oral/nasal suctioning, pulmonary hygiene, tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and rapid response among others

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center with Level II Pediatric Trauma Center designation. With 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds, this teaching hospital offers a comprehensive range of services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU, providing high-acuity care across multiple specialty units.
