CT Technologist

Job Details:

* Weekend shift schedule working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday - Days
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* Position accepts first-time travelers
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required
* Must be proficient with CT scanners including Siemens Somatom AS and Canon Aquilon One
* Perform high volume of general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac procedures
* Must be willing to transport patients and be proficient with perfusion scanning for stroke and trauma patients
* Must feel comfortable working in a high-paced environment
* Serves patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Daily census of approximately 168 cases
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, CMRT, Texas State License
* Required skills include: abdomen without and/or with contrast, brain perfusion, chest without and/or with contrast, vascular CTA, musculoskeletal trauma, preparation and/or administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, venipuncture, PACS, emergency department, transplant studies, and colonography
* 50-mile radius rule applies - no local candidates

Facility:

This facility operates a high-volume imaging department equipped with four CT scanners, including three Siemens units and one Philips unit. The department handles a diverse caseload including general CT, CTA, CT Perfusion, and CT Cardiac procedures, serving a broad patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics. The fast-paced environment supports a wide range of specialized imaging procedures and interdisciplinary patient care.
