Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Holiday rotation required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call requirements
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* No floating required to sister facilities
* Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT only - CRT not accepted
* South Carolina RCP license must be in hand at time of start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) - all must be in hand at time of start
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Free parking available
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), mechanical ventilation weaning, intubation assist, tracheostomy care and management, arterial blood gas interpretation, nitric oxide, bronchoscopy, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and radiology

This is a large hospital facility with 396 total staffed beds, offering comprehensive inpatient and critical care services across multiple units. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation.
