Opportunity:

Sterile Processing Tech

Job Details:

* 5x8 shift schedule, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday with holiday rotation
* Weekend rotation may be required
* May be required to float or be permanently switched to ART, Main, or West Campus to meet facility needs
* Floating to sister facilities is required
* 2 years of sterile processing experience required
* Level I Trauma experience required
* Travel experience required
* Experience in sterilization, decontamination, and assembly/wrap required
* Preferred case experience includes: Neuro, GU, Robotics, ENT, Ortho, Transplant, and GYN
* Required certifications: CBSPD and/or IAHCSMM/HSPA
* BLS not required
* Skills required include: sterilization wrapping procedures, high-level disinfection, immediate-use steam sterilization, sets/tray assembly, scope/probe reprocessing, biological and chemical indicators, and use of washers/sterilizers
* Equipment experience includes: bronchoscopes, enteroscopes, fiber optics, laparoscopic, and robotic instruments
* Specialty areas include: cardiac, neuro, OB/GYN, ophthalmology, orthopedics, plastics, transplant, urology, and ENT
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
* Parking cost applies nights and weekends only with a one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass
* All requested time off must be provided at time of submission; no RTO will be approved after contract is signed

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, Teaching Facility, and Magnet Hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The facility serves a diverse patient population including adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. As a premier academic medical center, it supports a wide range of complex surgical specialties and maintains high standards for sterile processing across multiple campuses.
