Job Details:

* Day/Evening rotating shift schedule with options for 5x8s or a combination of 2x8s and 2x12s
* Shift times: 6:30 AM?2:30 PM / 2:30 PM?10:30 PM (8-hour shifts) and 6:30 AM?6:30 PM / 10:30 AM?10:30 PM (12-hour shifts)
* Shift rotation is required
* Call requirements: 2?4 weeknight call shifts and 1?2 weekend call shifts per 4-week schedule
* No call shift exceeds 12 hours in duration
* Weekend call is either Friday and Saturday night only OR Saturday and Sunday during the day only
* Float required between days, afternoons, and days
* Patient ratio is 1:1 for days, nights, and weekends
* Minimum 2 years of CVOR Tech experience required
* Previous travel experience required
* Must be able to cardiac scrub
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Required certification: BLS
* Active Michigan (MI) license required at time of submission; compact licenses are not accepted
* Two manager or supervisor references required; charge nurse references are not accepted
* SPD Instrument Tracking system used; Censitrac experience required
* Performs scrub duties for adult cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgical cases including complex and high acuity patients
* Cardiac procedures include: LVAD/RVAD, Heart Transplant, Aortic Aneurysm Repair, MVR, AVR, CABG, ECMO, MAZE, and Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices
* Thoracic procedures include: Lung Transplant, VATS Wedge Resection, VATS/Open Lobectomy, Esophagectomy, Bronchoscopy, EGD, Mediastinal Mass Removal, and Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair
* Vascular procedures include: AAA, EVAR, Carotid Endarterectomy, AV Fistulas, Fem-distal bypass, Fem-fem bypass, SMA bypass, and Vein stripping/ablation
* Unit operates 10 rooms and treats adult and geriatric patient populations
