Job Details:
* 3x12 day shift schedule from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* No floating required to sister facilities
* Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT only; CRT not accepted
* SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at time of start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) all must be in hand at time of start
* Charting system: Epic experience required
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Free parking available
* Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation
* Patient ratio experience: 8
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Travel experience required
* Key skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, HFNC, mechanical ventilation weaning, ABG interpretation, intubation assist, tracheostomy care, bronchoscopy, nitric oxide, neonatal and pediatric critical care, and extubation
