Open Position: OT - Therapy Rehab Acute Care

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2464.00

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday, 5x8 day shifts from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
* Weekend rotation required every 6th full weekend with weekend shift hours of 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
* Day off provided during the week prior to the Saturday shift and the week after the Sunday shift
* Holiday rotation required
* Guaranteed 40 hours per week
* No on-call required
* Float between two sites may be required
* 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required
* Maximum of 7 days of requested time off; no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
* Required certifications: BLS and state license
* Adult care experience required
* Adaptive equipment experience required
* Experience with hip fracture, total hip replacement, and knee injuries/total knee replacement required
* Skills required: lifting and transfer, patient/family education, safety and injury prevention, telephone calls, and documentation
* Additional skills: acute care, assessment, CVA rehabilitation, discharge, evaluation, and Parkinson's disease
* Patient population includes adults and geriatrics
* Patient diagnoses include orthopedic, neurological, ICU, telemetry, and med-surg conditions
* Lift equipment available on-site
* Charting system: EPIC (experience preferred)
* Dress code: black scrub top, tan pants or scrub pants
* Free parking available in yellow-lined spots

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility operates with 69 staffed beds and provides comprehensive inpatient services across a range of specialties including orthopedics, neurology, ICU, telemetry, and med-surg. The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic charting and offers a collaborative, interdisciplinary care environment. Lift equipment is available to support therapy staff in delivering safe and effective patient care.
