Job Details:

* Night shift position working 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts on weekdays and weekends
* 13-week contract with possibility of extension
* Patient ratios of 1:5-7
* Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
* Travel experience not required
* Unit cannot guarantee schedule requests but will work with travelers as best as possible
* Scrubs not provided
* Charting system: Cerner (experience required)
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS (must be through American Heart Association)
* WV or Compact License required; pending license accepted for submission
* Candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility
* Minimum 2 Manager and/or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years required
* Facility will only tolerate 2-3 call offs per contract
* Skills required include: BiPAP/CPAP management, blood product administration, heparin and insulin management, interpretation of arterial blood gases, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, isolation precautions/PPE, IV insulin protocols, peripheral line care, PICC line management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, and use of rapid response/code teams
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
* Caring for adult patients in a 34-bed acute medical-surgical unit with a daily census of 25-30 patients
