Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour mid shifts from 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM
* Up to 2 weekend on-call shifts (7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM) per 4-week scheduling period
* Required to work at least one holiday period (Christmas: December 24?26 or New Year's: December 31?January 1)
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to equal 1 shift
* Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be required
* 2 years of OR RN experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred; RNs are trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures
* Work across 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Patients served include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrub color provided by facility
* Block scheduling available upon manager approval, dependent on unit needs
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room is a busy and dynamic nurse-driven department featuring 21 OR suites that cover all surgical specialties. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists. The facility provides cutting-edge technology and interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
