Job Details:
* 3x12-hour rotating days and nights schedule with every other weekend required
* Patient ratios of 1:3 for days, nights, and weekends
* Level IV NICU experience required
* Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
* Ventilator and tracheostomy experience required
* Pediatric experience preferred
* Ohio single state or compact multi-state license required
* Required certifications: NRP, BLS, PALS
* Epic charting experience preferred
* Care for neonates and infants with high acuity surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions
* Patient diagnoses include Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Prematurity of the Neonate, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Pulmonary Hypertension, and other complex neonatal conditions
* Work with specialized equipment including Nitric Oxide, Servo Ventilators, Hi Flow Nasal Cannula, Ram Cannula, Bubble CPAP, EVD, Shunts, G-tubes, Trachs, Giraffe Beds, Moog Feeding Pumps, Arterial Lines, Peritoneal Dialysis, Oscillators, and Bili Lights and Blankets
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, and Pharmacy
* May float to like assignments throughout the hospital including potentially to Liberty campus
Facility:
This facility operates a Level IV NICU with a high volume of intubated and acute infants requiring complex care. The unit features 90 beds and maintains a daily census of approximately 81 patients. The facility also houses a regional high acuity Fetal Care Center, offering comprehensive neonatal and fetal care services supported by a robust interdisciplinary team.
