Job Details:
* Work 12.5-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM on various days of the week
* Weekend shifts required per unit needs
* On-call required per unit need
* Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
* Travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Patient ratio of 1:2 for Labor & Delivery; antepartum or postpartum ratio up to 4:1
* Float required within service line only; may be required to float to sister facility
* Self-scheduling unit
* Charting system: Epic (required)
* Required certifications: BLS, NRP, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, FHM
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred; Trauma Level II experience required
* Must be proficient in Labor & Delivery skills including: antepartum and postpartum care, fetal monitoring (internal and external), Pitocin/oxytocin administration, magnesium sulfate therapy, neonatal resuscitation, C-section support, high-risk antepartum and intrapartum care, postpartum hemorrhage management, and pre-eclampsia/eclampsia management
* Maximum of 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract
* RTO is not allowed during the following blackout periods: September 2?September 12, 2026; October 25?November 4, 2026; November 22?December 2, 2026; December 20?January 3, 2027
* No blocked scheduling requests permitted

This facility is a well-established hospital providing comprehensive Labor & Delivery services with a dedicated team of interdisciplinary support staff including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and social services. The unit consists of 15 beds and rooms, caring for patients across neonatal, infant, adolescent, and adult age groups. The facility specializes in high-risk antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum care, and supports a wide range of special procedures including inductions, cesarean sections, cerclage, and D&C.
