Job Details:

* Work three 12-hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, scheduled Saturday, Sunday, and one weekday
* Float within scope to meet facility needs between like units and sister facilities as required
* Scrub and circulate surgical procedures across all surgical specialties including Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; called off hours can be broken down to add up to 1 shift
* Block schedule available upon manager approval dependent on unit needs
* Locals accepted on a case-by-case basis
* All requested time off must be submitted at time of presentation
* Minimum 2 years of experience strongly preferred
* First-time travelers accepted
* South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license required
* Required certifications: BLS and Radiation Badge (Radiation badge to be provided by agency)
* Level 1 trauma experience required
* Scrub experience strongly preferred
* Charting system: EPIC
* Scrubs provided by facility

Facility:

This facility is a Level I Trauma Center, teaching facility, and Magnet-designated hospital with 820 total staffed beds. The Main Operating Room features 21 OR suites covering all surgical specialties and operates as a busy, nurse-driven department offering cutting-edge technology. The nursing team consists of 75% Registered Nurses and 25% Certified Surgical Technologists, with RNs trained to both scrub and circulate surgical procedures. Interdisciplinary support includes interpretation services, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary services.
