Job Details:

* 3x12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
* 36 guaranteed hours per week
* Scrub in the Cath Lab to support the Cath Lab team alongside a Cath Lab RN and Cath Lab Tech
* Support expansion from four to five procedure rooms
* Cases include adult cardiology and structural cardiology patient diagnoses
* Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
* Travel experience required - experienced lab travelers with all procedures preferred
* Active WV license required to start assignment; pending license accepted for submission
* ARRT registration required
* Must be located more than 100 miles from facility; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (American Heart Association)
* Scrub color/attire provided by facility
* Charting system: Cerner
* Parking is free for travelers
* Required skills include: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, Cardiac Implant Closure Device, Cardiac Stent Placement, Diagnostic Catheterizations (Adult), IABP Placement/Removal, Interpretation of Dysrhythmias, Left Heart Catheterization, Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI), Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA), Scrub Procedures, Equipment Setup, Recognition of Life-Threatening Arrhythmias, Room Circulator, Scrub - Maintain Sterile Field, Isolation Precautions/PPE, and Sterile Technique

This facility is a short-term acute care hospital and Level IV Trauma Center, as well as a major teaching hospital and member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems (COTH). With 838 total staffed beds, the facility provides a wide range of specialized services and supports a high-volume Cath Lab environment with a team-oriented approach to patient care.
