Job Details:
* Block scheduling required
* Every other weekend required
* No on-call required
* Position will float between units
* May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
* Expected patient ratio of 1:11
* 36 orientation hours
* Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
* At least 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Washington state license must be in hand at time of submission
* Preferred equipment experience: Puritan Bennett, Draeger, Trilogy, LTV1250
* Preferred patient population: Pediatrics and Adolescents
* Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Scrub color: Any color
* Charting system: Epic
* Free parking on site
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT, Washington license
* Required skills include: Aerosol set up mask and trach, Albuterol, Atrovent, BiPAP, CPAP, Extubation, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs), Nitric Oxide (INo), Oral and nasal suctioning, Pediatrics, Pulmonary Hygiene, Tracheostomy care and management, Weaning from mechanical ventilation, Rapid Response, and additional respiratory medications and procedures
Facility:
This short-term acute care facility is a Level II Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center with 629 total staffed beds and 644 licensed beds. As a teaching hospital, it offers a comprehensive range of specialized services including a Level 4 NICU, Medical ICU, Cardiac ICU, and PICU. The facility is equipped with advanced respiratory care capabilities and supports a diverse patient population across multiple specialized units.
