Opportunity:

RN - Pediatric OR

Job Details:

* 10-hour day shifts with variable start times of 6:45 AM or 8:45 AM
* Monday through Friday schedule with occasional weekend shifts
* 1 to 6 weekend shifts per contract
* Variable shifts may occur within a week based on department need, with rotation attempted by week
* Ability to float to other UCSF campuses required
* Minimum 3 years of experience required
* Pediatric General OR experience required
* Ambulatory OR, CVOR, General OR, Pediatric CVOR, and Trauma experience preferred
* Previous charge experience preferred
* Community hospital experience preferred
* Trauma Level I experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Teaching hospital experience required
* Epic charting system experience required
* Patient population includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents
* Services include Neurology, Ortho/Spine, Otolaryngology, Urology, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Dental, Cardiac, General Surgery, GI, and Hem/Onc
* Required certifications: CA RN License, BSN, BLS, PALS
* CNOR certification preferred
* 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submittal

Facility:

This renowned children's hospital features 11 surgical suites and 2 procedural rooms, with a primary focus on a multidisciplinary team-based approach to patient care. The facility provides a comprehensive range of pediatric surgical services and maintains a highly specialized environment dedicated to the care of pediatric patients from neonates through adolescents. The organization is part of a larger university medical system with multiple campuses throughout the region.
