Opportunity:

Mammography Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with late hours until 8:30 PM as needed
* Every other Saturday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM required; a day off during the week will be provided when Saturday is scheduled
* Schedule posted one week in advance
* 2-3 weekend shifts per month
* Float between 4 sites located in Guilford, North Haven, and New Haven, CT
* Cross training as Breast Sonographer preferred
* 2 years of experience required; travel experience required
* First-time travelers not accepted
* Required certifications: ARRT M, ARRT R, BLS, Breast Ultrasound
* Experience with Hologic equipment required
* Proficiency in 3D Mammography, Diagnostic Mammograms, Digital Mammography, Hologic 3D, Screening Mammograms, and Radiation Safety required
* Epic charting system experience preferred
* Scrub color: Teal tops and bottoms
* Guaranteed hours provided
* Patients served are adults

Facility:

This short-term acute care facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a total of 1,567 staffed beds, offering a full range of advanced medical services including radiology support. The facility operates across multiple outpatient medical centers in the greater New Haven area, providing comprehensive care including mammography and cancer-related services. The organization utilizes Epic for charting and is equipped with modern imaging technology to support high-quality patient care.
