CT Scan Tech
Job Details:
* Work 3x12-hour day shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Floating required - rotate through all buildings as needed, including sister facilities
* Daily caseload of approximately 6 patients per hour with 60 exams per day
* Primarily cardiac exams (75% cardiac), along with routine studies, stroke patients, and Interventional Radiology procedures
* Perform a wide range of CT procedures including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, vascular, musculoskeletal, and cardiac studies
* Perform advanced imaging procedures including 3D rendering, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and multiplanar reconstruction
* Interventional radiology procedures including biopsies, drainages, and vascular studies preferred
* Work with Siemens Naeotom Alpha Photon Counting and Siemens X.Cite equipment (Somaris 10)
* Chart using Epic system - experience required
* Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Guaranteed hours: facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Attend all staff meetings as required
* Wear teal top and black bottom scrubs
* Parking pass available for a one-time payment of $20 (nights and weekends only)
* Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred; 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Siemens experience and Level 1 Trauma experience required
* Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT(R)(CT), and SCRQSA(R)(CT), South Carolina license
* Radiation badge must be supplied by agency - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers
* 40 orientation hours required
