Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $1859.20

Job Details:

* 3x12 night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
* Every other weekend required
* Holiday rotation required
* No on-call required
* Must be able to float to all areas of the hospital, including labor and delivery
* No floating to sister facilities required
* Guaranteed hours: facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
* Minimum 2 years of experience required; first-time travelers accepted for nights position only
* Must have recent critical care experience
* RRT only - CRT not accepted
* Travel experience required
* SC RCP (South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider) license must be in hand at time of start
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) - all must be in hand at time of start
* Charting system: Epic (experience required)
* Scrub color: Caribbean Blue
* Free parking available
* Patient age groups include neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
* Required skills include adult critical care, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), intubation assist, mechanical ventilation weaning, tracheostomy care/management, arterial blood gas interpretation, bronchoscopy, nitric oxide, and more
* Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
* Community hospital experience required

Facility:

This is a large healthcare facility with 396 total staffed beds, offering a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and provides robust interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, rapid response teams, and more. The organization serves a diverse patient population spanning all age groups and maintains high clinical standards across all departments.
