Opportunity:

Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Details:

* Monday through Friday schedule with call requirements of 1 weekend per month and 1-2 days of call per week
* Two technologists on call each shift, serving as primary and secondary coverage
* Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers accepted
* Must be proficient at supporting Neuro and Body Interventional Radiology procedures utilizing single and biplane radiography units
* Perform a wide range of procedures including Y90, TIPs, chemo embolization, UFE, PAE, trauma, stroke, carotid stent, drains, biopsies, LPs, kyphos, lines, ports, filters, peripheral stents, AV fistula declot/stenting, and PE/DVTs
* Treat patients of all acuities including outpatient and inpatient, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics across all age groups including neonates, infants, and adolescents
* Daily census of approximately 25-30 cases per day across 5 rooms including 2 biplane rooms, 2 single plane rooms, and a dedicated ultrasound room
* Utilize Siemens fluoro units, Phillips ultrasound units, and IVUS equipment
* Experience with McKesson PACS and Cerner Powerchart preferred
* Position is very active and requires ambulating, reaching, and moving objects weighing up to and over 20 lbs
* Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS, and ARRT Advanced Certification
* Trauma Level I experience preferred
* Community hospital and Cerner charting experience preferred
* Missouri or Compact license must be in hand at start
* Must be available to work at least 50% of holidays that occur during the contract
* Must be able to work rotating shifts including during inclement weather

Facility:

This facility is a Trauma Level I and Stroke Center offering a comprehensive Interventional Radiology department equipped with advanced imaging technology. The department includes 2 biplane rooms, 2 single plane rooms, and a dedicated ultrasound room, supported by a team of 5 Body IR physicians and 3 Neurointerventional physicians. The facility handles a full range of outpatient and inpatient procedures for patients of all acuities and age groups, operating 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
