Opportunity:

Lead CT Tech

Job Details:

* Lead CT Tech position at South campus requiring minimum 3 years of lead/charge experience
* Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
* 12-week contract
* Call required on a rotational basis
* Must have experience with Epic charting system
* Community hospital experience required
* Trauma Level II experience preferred
* Patient ratio of 9 patients during day shifts
* Works with GE 64 sl/256 sl equipment
* Required certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, Florida State License
* Required skills include: 3D rendering, CT of abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, CT arthrography, colonography, colorectal studies, enterography, myelography, PET CT, vascular CTA, and musculoskeletal trauma
* Must be proficient in multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), PACS, radiation safety, radiation therapy planning, and region of interest measurement (ROI)
* Experience with procedures including aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and preparation/administration of contrast media required
* Must be comfortable starting peripheral IVs and performing venipuncture
* Serves patients across all age groups including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
* Experience in Emergency Department and ICU settings required
* Isolation precautions/PPE experience required

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a large community hospital with 350 beds and a daily census of 150 patients. The facility features a well-equipped radiology department with 4 CT rooms and interdisciplinary support from radiology services. The organization provides comprehensive imaging services to patients across all age groups and maintains modern equipment to support a wide range of advanced CT procedures.
