Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapy

Job Details:

* Weekends and holidays required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform basic treatment therapy including administration of aerosolized medication via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
* Provide CPT, incentive spirometry, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and arteriocentesis
* Treat patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* 1 year of experience required, travel experience preferred
* Must have active BLS and ACLS certification at time of submission
* Active compact or Tennessee license required at time of submission
* Epic experience within the last 18 months required and must be clearly documented on profile
* Must pass Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed
* Skills required include adult critical care, aerosol setup, BiPAP, CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, metered dose inhaler (MDI), tracheostomy care/management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and more

This healthcare facility offers comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, lift teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The facility is equipped with modern technology and utilizes the Epic charting system to ensure high-quality patient care across a wide range of patient populations and medical needs.
