Open Position: Respiratory Therapist - Registered Respiratory Therapist

Opportunity:

RRT - Respiratory Therapist

Job Details:

* Weekends and holidays required
* No on-call responsibilities
* Perform basic treatment therapy including administration of aerosolized medication via oral inhalation, EZPAP, IPPB, and MDI
* Provide CPT, incentive spirometry, oxygen therapy, CPAP/BiPAP therapy, and arteriocentesis
* Treat patients across multiple age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
* Skills required include adult critical care, aerosol setup, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC), interpretation of arterial blood gases (ABGs), intubation assist, metered dose inhaler (MDI), tracheostomy care and management, weaning from mechanical ventilation, and more
* Interdisciplinary support available including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
* 1 year of experience required; travel experience preferred
* Active Tennessee license required at time of submission
* Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RRT
* Epic charting system experience required within the last 18 months; must be clearly documented on profile
* Must pass Epic competency exam; only one attempt allowed
