Job Details:
* Work 12-hour shifts with day shift hours from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM or night shift hours from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
* 30-minute paid lunch and three 15-minute rest periods included per shift
* 3 shifts per week required
* Must be available to work 7 days a week with no self-scheduling
* Weekend rotation every other weekend
* Block scheduling available but not guaranteed and must be requested from manager
* Schedule requests require 2 weeks notice on a 6-week schedule
* At least one holiday shift expected
* No on-call responsibilities
* Float through all ICU, ER, and PCU areas; NICU float as secondary RT during surge situations; rare inpatient rehab unit float
* Will primarily work in all critical care areas including ICUs, EDs, PCUs, and NICU (not as primary RT in NICU)
* Patient population includes neonates and geriatrics
* Patient assignments determined by point system
* Perform ABG draws and analysis, BiPAP, CPAP, and ventilator/trach management
* Operate equipment including GEM blood gas machine, Pyxis, Medtronic 980 Ventilators, Draeger Ventilators, LTV Ventilators, and Servo NIV
* Chart using EPIC system
* Neonate experience preferred
* Minimum 1 year of experience required
* First-time travelers accepted
* Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (must have scheduled class prior to starting)
* CRRT or RRT credential required
* State licensure required
* Scrub color: any color acceptable, no camouflage or denim, must be professional

This facility is a Level III Trauma Center with 375 licensed beds, providing comprehensive care across multiple critical care settings including ICUs, emergency departments, PCUs, and a NICU.
