RN - Outpatient Procedure Unit

Job Details:

* Day shift position working five 8-hour shifts per week
* Position is within an outpatient procedure unit
* Candidates with perioperative, PACU, or endoscopy RN background are eligible
* EPIC experience required
* Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process
* Supervise and direct activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff
* Coordinate care with other disciplines utilizing critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment
* Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis and care issues
* Develop and implement care plans prescribing interventions to attain outcomes
* Evaluate progress toward attaining patient outcomes and identify outcomes for the patient or situation
* Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers in a safe, healing, humane, and caring environment
* Participate in discharge planning to provide continuity of care
* Delegate and coordinate duties of healthcare team members appropriately
* At least two years of recent experience in field required
* Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred
* Acute care facility experience: Preferred
* Required certifications: BLS or CPR certification from an approved vendor
* Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
