RN - Labor & Delivery

Job Details:

* Work in an 18-bed Labor & Delivery unit
* Day shift staffing includes 1 charge or CNC, 8-10 RNs, 1-2 OB techs, and 1 HUC
* Night shift staffing includes 1 charge or CNC, 8-10 RNs, and 1-2 OB techs
* Patient ratios: 1:1 for Pitocin, C-section delivery, and recovery; 2-3 antepartum patients per nurse following AWHONN guidelines
* On-call requirement of 1-2 shifts per schedule
* Floating requirement to mother baby unit if needed; may serve as a resource outside of women's services
* GE fetal monitoring equipment used on unit
* EMR system: CPN Meditech
* Must have labor management skills and experience circulating a cesarean section
* Preferred experience with vaginal delivery, C-sections, triage, and iron infusions
* Team-oriented environment focused on providing the best patient outcomes

Facility:

This facility houses a dedicated Labor & Delivery unit located on the second floor, featuring 18 beds and a robust team of over 50 staff members. The unit follows AWHONN guidelines and is equipped with GE fetal monitoring technology to support comprehensive obstetric care. The team is known for its strong culture, collaborative environment, and commitment to delivering exceptional care to patients and their families.
